Introduction
The Water and Wastewater Engineering (WWE) Research Group was established in 2006 as a merger between the former groups of Water Engineering and Wastewater Engineering in the environmental engineering field. This group has a vision to be a higher and center of development for science and technology in water and wastewater engineering and together with other research groups in this field bring ITB to be a center of excellence in environmental engineering in Asia. Its mission is to guide developments and changes carried out by society through innovative and quality education, research and community service particularly in the field of water and wastewater engineering, and be responsive to global development and local challenges.
